About Panther

Bring one of the most recognizable armoured vehicles of the Second World War to your collection with the QuanGuan Panther construction-brick model. Comprising 990 pieces, this substantial build offers an engaging project for younger builders, experienced hobbyists, and military-model collectors alike. Its distinctive silhouette, sloped front armour, long gun barrel, and compact turret make it an impressive centrepiece when displayed. Designed for an enjoyable and rewarding building experience, the model combines classic construction-brick assembly with the character of a historic German armoured vehicle. The carefully structured hull and turret create a satisfying sense of progress, while the completed model has the presence to stand out on a shelf, desk, or dedicated display cabinet. Its construction also makes it a thoughtful gift for fans of military history, engineering, and brick-based collecting. The Panther’s angular shaping gives the finished model a strong visual identity from every angle. Layered surfaces, a pronounced glacis, side detailing, and a proportionally styled main gun contribute to its authentic display appeal without overwhelming the building experience. Whether assembled as a focused weekend project or enjoyed gradually over time, the set offers plenty of visual interest throughout the build. With its generous piece count and collectible subject, the QuanGuan Panther is well suited to anyone looking for more than a simple display model. Build it, explore its form, and place it alongside other historical or military-inspired construction models to create a distinctive collection. Please note that this is a construction-brick model, and colours, elements, and printed details may vary slightly from product images.

Historical Background

The Panther was a German medium tank developed during the Second World War and introduced into service in 1943. It was created in response to the need for a modern armoured vehicle combining effective protection, mobility, and a powerful main armament. Its design represented a move away from the more vertical armour layouts used on many earlier vehicles. A defining feature of the Panther was its extensive use of sloped armour, which helped improve protection by increasing the effective thickness of the armour plates. The vehicle was also equipped with a high-velocity 75 mm KwK 42 L/70 gun, giving it a notably long and imposing main barrel. Its turret, broad tracks, and carefully shaped hull remain instantly recognisable to military-history enthusiasts. Like many complex wartime machines, early Panthers required refinement, and later production versions incorporated changes intended to improve reliability and practicality. The vehicle continued to evolve through several variants and remained an influential example of German armoured-vehicle design. Today, the Panther is remembered for its distinctive engineering, powerful appearance, and enduring importance in twentieth-century military history.
