Historical Background
The Bofors 40 mm L/60 was one of the most widely recognized medium-calibre anti-aircraft gun designs of the 20th century. Developed in Sweden, it became known for its effective combination of mobility, rate of fire, and versatility, leading to adoption or licensed production by numerous countries. The Morris Commercial CDSW was part of a family of British military vehicles developed for transport and support duties. Its multi-wheel layout and practical chassis design reflected the need for dependable equipment capable of carrying personnel, stores, or specialist bodies in demanding service environments. This construction-brick model presents the Bofors gun and Morris CDSW 6x4 vehicle as a compact display concept. It is intended to capture the visual language of period military engineering without asserting a specific documented vehicle configuration or battlefield deployment.
