About 57MM ZIS-2 T-20 Armored Tractor

Bring a distinctive Soviet artillery vignette to your collection with the 57MM ZIS-2 T-20 Armored Tractor. This combined construction-brick model presents an armored tractor concept alongside a towed 57mm-class gun, creating a display with more visual variety than a single-vehicle build. With 390 pieces and a compact 1:35 scale, the set is designed to balance hands-on building with collector-friendly presentation. The tracked tractor, gun, and supporting elements form a cohesive scene that can be displayed independently or incorporated into a larger military collection, diorama, or workshop-style setting. The construction experience offers a rewarding project for builders aged 6 and up, with recognizable military styling, a strong Soviet faction identity, and plenty of opportunity to explore proportions, forms, and details through brick assembly. Its manageable scale makes it suitable for shelves, desks, display cabinets, and model-focused layouts. Whether selected as a standalone centerpiece or as an addition to a broader armored collection, the 57MM ZIS-2 T-20 Armored Tractor delivers a characterful combination of tracked utility and artillery presence. It is an engaging choice for collectors who appreciate historical military subjects interpreted through construction-brick design.

Historical Background

The ZiS-2 was a Soviet 57 mm anti-tank gun developed in the years preceding and during the Second World War. Its high-velocity design was intended to provide strong armor-piercing performance, and the weapon became particularly notable for its long, slender barrel and distinctive artillery profile. The T-20 Komsomolets was a compact Soviet tracked artillery tractor introduced in the late 1930s. Lightly armored and built for towing duties, it was used to move artillery pieces, ammunition, and crews across difficult terrain while providing a more protected alternative to unarmored transport. This model brings the visual language of the ZiS-2 and T-20 together in a display-oriented construction set. Rather than representing a specific documented battlefield scene, it offers collectors a historical-themed interpretation of Soviet towing and artillery equipment in a compact 1:35 scale format.
